FIELD REPORT – Bureau of Impossible Geography SURVEYOR: Ottoline Marsh REPORT 14 OF 14 SUBJECT: Recommendation, and a request STATUS: Requests to remain The Bureau asked for a recommendation, a threat designation, and proposed actions. I give them first, as instructed. Recommendation: that the Shard designated The Architecture of Babel be classified as stable and inhabited, and left alone. Threat designation: low, with one exception, which is not a person but a cutting under a bell jar in sub-level three of the Withering Wards, and which the Bureau should on no account attempt to seize. Proposed actions: none. I add, as an observation, that the spire of the Conservatory now stands at forty-three storeys, two having been added since my seventh report, and that the Root Galleries indicate a ground plan for a tower of seven turns.
