The only reliable intelligence from this Shard comes from Skodwarde, the Cynic. Trapped in a monolith of absolute depression known as the Tiki Head, Skodwarde is the only entity aware of the simulation's artificiality. His face is elongated, drooping with the weight of cosmic depression, and he plays a clarinet that produces no sound—only the sensation of falling. Skodwarde's reports to the Bureau are usually just prolonged screaming, but occasionally he provides data on the 'Bleed Signature' of the Shard. He describes it as an entropic force that attacks the dignity of other realities. When Spengbab's world touches another, elegant prose is reduced to shitposts, and tragedy is rewritten in Comic Sans. The Bureau has attempted to use the Astrolabe to map the semantic boundaries of this Shard, but the instrument's concentric rings begin to jitter and output 'NaN' values whenever they are pointed toward the Fast Food Circle.
