First Prefect, enforcer of the House Rules. Takes the roll call and inspects the line. Her instructions are main clauses without a form of address, and she corrects the bearing of others by altering her own. Before the Director she lowers her gaze, so briefly that only Ruth sees it. With Nora she fights a battle that has long been more: when she straightens Nora's collar her fingers stay a second too long, and both of them count. Wants Ottilie's place and never names it.
