Hildegard von Bingen

· female

A tall woman of sixty with clear blue eyes, an erect carriage, and the composed expression of someone who has been arguing with God since childhood. Wears the black habit of a Benedictine abbess with a white wimple. Her hands are strong — healer's hands, gardener's hands. A silver ring engraved with a serpent biting its tail marks her as abbess of Rupertsberg.

From the simulation Cité des Dames (Epoch 4).
